Dr. Swati Ajwani

Dentist

Dr. Swati Ajwani is an international dentist with more than fifteen years of clinical experience. Dr. Ajwani is an honours graduate from the University of Toronto. Dr. Ajwani successfully started Grandview Dental Clinic at Oshawa and Scarborough and has made them into smoothly running successful practices. In addition to being a qualified dentist from Canada, Dr. Swati Ajwani has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India. She is certified for Nitrous Oxide and Oral Conscious Sedation. She was awarded the William R. Jackson Award for excellence in Clinical Prosthodontics from The University of Toronto. She has been working as a general dentist in GTA since June 2010, providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, including kids. Dr. Ajwani is a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons. Dr. Ajwani devotes most of her time to her patients. To offer the best possible service to her patients, Dr. Ajwani has taken several courses to keep herself abreast of the changes in the profession and be knowledgeable about the latest dental techniques.

When Dr. Ajwani is not serving her valued patients or upgrading her dental skills, she spends time with her family and pursues her interests of travelling, swimming, bike riding and music.

Shania Mantik

Dental Hygienist and Assistant

Shania began working as a Dental Assistant at Grandview Dental Clinic in 2016 after graduating from Durham College and obtaining her National Dental Assistant Certificate. She has experience with sedation, Invisalign, crowns, dentures, and extractions. While working at Grandview Dental Clinic, she completed an advanced diploma in Dental Hygiene. She has also been practicing as a Dental Hygienist since October 2021. Shania is a Registered Dental Hygienist and a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association.

She loves making people smile and has helped patients not only overcome their fears but also experience many kinds of positive transformations — whether esthetic or personal. Shania enjoys seeing patients smiling and laughing in the office.

She is very outdoorsy and loves playing sports, fishing, hiking, and camping. At the same time, she also enjoys a relaxing day of binge-watching Netflix.

Naomi Finan

Receptionist

Naomi is a highly experienced Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. She has been with Grandview Dental Clinic since July 2022 in our Oshawa office. Naomi has excellent organizational, patient-handling, and communication skills. She loves interacting with patients and answering their questions. She is a dog lover and enjoys dancing and watching movies.

Lidia Gomes

Dental Assistant

Lidia Gomes is a Dental Assistant in the Scarborough office of Grandview Dental Clinic. She has worked in the dental field for fourteen years. She is a highly enthusiastic individual who loves her job and enjoys interacting with patients.

Lidia is also a Bengali writer and has published five books. Her other hobbies include gardening and travelling.
