Dr Swati Ajwani
Dr Swati Ajwani is an international dentist with clinical experience of more than twelve years. Dr. Ajwani is an honors graduate from the University of Toronto. Swati, successfully started Grandview Dental Clinic at Oshawa and has made it into a smoothly running successful practice. In addition to being a qualified dentist from Canada, Dr. Swati Ajwani has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India. She is certified for Nitrous Oxide and Oral Conscious Sedation. She was awarded the William R. Jackson Award for excellence in Clinical Prosthodontics from The University of Toronto. She has been working as a general dentist in GTA since June 2010 providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages including kids.
Dr. Ajwani is a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons. Dr. Ajwani devotes most of her time to her patients. In order to offer the best possible service to her patients, Dr. Ajwani has taken several courses to keep herself abreast of the changes in the profession and be knowledgeable about the latest dental techniques.
When Dr. Ajwani is not serving her valued patients or upgrading her dental skills, she spends time with her family (she has a fifteen year old daughter), and pursues her interests of travelling, swimming, bike riding and music.
Clinic Manager & Treatment Plan Coordinator
Ashley is our Clinic Manager & Treatment Plan Coordinator.
Ashley has 10 years’ experience providing patients with exceptional dental care. Striving to provide each patient with the most comfortable experience is her long term goal. In her spare time, she spends time at the race track along with her family, living the fast life.
Tammy is an honours graduate of the Cambrian College dental hygiene program. She is a dental hygienist with over 20 years of experience, and is dedicated to providing individualized oral health care and education to her clients. Tammy also strives to remain current on new advances with the dental hygiene profession. Tammy enjoys living an active lifestyle and spending time with family, friends and her two loyal dog companions.
Kayla has been with our office since August 2016. She graduated from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries with honours. She has been actively practicing in the Toronto and Durham area since 2012.
Her favorite part of being a hygienist is getting to know her patients and their families. She not only aims to care for her patients’ dental health but also to build lasting relationships with them.
When she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys travelling, shopping, baking and spending time with her family.
Shania graduated from Durham college in 2016, then obtained a National Dental Assistant Certificate and has been working at Grandview Dental Clinic ever since. She has experience with sedation, Invisalign, crowns, dentures and extractions.
She loves to make people smile and has not only helped patients overcome their fears but has also helped them with all different kinds of positive transformations. Whether it is an esthetic transformation or a personal transformation, she loves seeing the patients smiling and laughing in the office.
She is a very outdoors person and loves spending time playing sports, fishing, hiking and going camping. At the same time, a relaxing day just binge-watching Netflix is what Shania also enjoys at times.
Stephenie recently graduated with honours from Trillium College. In addition to her diploma, she has attained her NDAEB & HARP certifications. Stephenie is also a proud member of the ODAA (Ontario Dental Assistants Association). Her favourite part of the day is knowing she’s helping people to keep smiling! Outside of the office, Stephenie enjoys reading, hiking with her dog and spending time with family and friends.
